Naturally, interests and passions alter as one grows and matures. Such is, however, not in the case of my younger brother William. An encyclopedia of aircraft lingo, he points out planes flying above the car with their specific model types, pilots virtual airplanes on a flight simulator, and spends his free time creating his own runway system for his miniature aircraft models on his bedroom desk with Sticky-Notes. After passing through the airport checkpoint before every flight, William searches for seats near windows facing our aircraft so he can study it as we wait to board. My brother’s curiosity and enchantment to airplanes a heartwarming inspiration, I aimed to capture the excitement that glitters within him as he flies his planes and his look of wonderment discovering aircrafts considerably larger than the one in his hand. Even the other model plane in the corner orients itself towards him, peering at its dear acquaintance.
